91¿´Æ¬ to host Entry Planning Information Sessions for students with Differing Abilities

Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board's (91¿´Æ¬) Special Education and Learning Services Department will host an in-person and virtual information session to support the entry planning and transition for students with differing abilities who will be new to the 91¿´Æ¬ for September 2025.

The in-person session will provide parents/guardians with the opportunity to meet with board staff and learn about the entry planning and transition process for students with differing abilities. The same information will be shared at the virtual session for families who prefer to attend online.

Entry Planning Information Sessions:

In-Person Session:          
Thursday, January 16, 2025
7:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
St. Marcellinus Catholic Secondary School, 730 Courtneypark Dr. W. Mississauga

Virtual Session:               
Monday, January 20, 2025
7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
Virtual Presentation via Microsoft TEAMS

Parents/guardians can register online for these events. The deadline for registering is Thursday, January 16, 2025.

Families/guardians are encouraged to complete the  Entry Planning Form for Students with Differing Abilities Form prior to attending these events. Completion of this form should only be done after parents/guardians have completed the online registration process.  This form should only be completed for students who have higher needs (e.g. a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder, medical needs, needs requiring equipment or specialized services, speech, vision or hearing needs, etc.).
