It is a student’s responsibility to ensure that they have access to proper technology to complete the requirements of the eLearning program. Students who do not have access to technology are encouraged to speak to their home school Vice Principal for options that are available to them.

Online courses require a computer/Chromebook with high-speed internet, speakers, word processing, and video streaming capabilities. Most standard software applications used in these online courses are standard to the common user.

Please note that eLearning courses are led on Brightspace by D2L (Learning Management System).

Prior to starting an eLearning course, students are required to access the eLearning Student Orientation unit when the course begins. The orientation reviews guidelines and Brightspace by D2L navigation. This unit is found in your Brightspace by D2L eLearning course under “Contents”.
